Twenty years—a lifetime of moments, memories, and milestones—woven together into a tapestry of experiences that I deeply cherish. It feels like just yesterday when I walked into the gates of this school as a young, eager teacher. Little did I know then that this place would become my second home, my family, and the cornerstone of my life’s most beautiful journey.
Teaching, for me, has always been more than just a profession; it’s a passion, a calling. Over these two decades, I have been fortunate to interact with countless students, each with their unique spark, curiosity, and potential and witnessing the ordinary classrooms changing into smart classrooms replacing age old chalk and duster to smart boards and pens. Guiding the students, seeing them grow, and being a part of their learning journey has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of my life. I have had the privilege of not just teaching but also learning from them—their questions, ideas, and energy have constantly inspired me to grow and evolve.
Beyond the classroom, my journey has been enriched by countless events, celebrations, and shared moments. From coordinating annual day programs to accompanying students to inter-school fests, every occasion has been an adventure. The excitement of brainstorming creative ideas, the nervous energy before performances, and the joy of celebrating victories—these experiences have left an indelible mark on my heart.
Education is a process through which a person acquires knowledge and skills, but most importantly a sense of right and wrong. It makes an individual civilized, well-informed and also ethical and builds a healthy society.
At NES we look upon inculcating eternal values as our primary responsibility. Our students are encouraged to grow morally, intellectually, physically and socially, to become the ideal Indian citizen of the future. I feel, good values are integral to education. In fact no amount of sky high marks or grades can substitute the place of character and values. At NES, our aim is a holistic development of the students. We have firm faith that our students will learn to respect their own culture, heritage, faith, foster good values and develop a positive attitude. Each student is an ambassador of NES’s culture and on his shoulder lies the responsibility of keeping the NES’s banner flying high. As I look back on these 20 years, my heart is filled with gratitude. I am thankful to the school management for believing in me and giving me opportunities to grow. I am grateful to my colleagues, who have been my pillars of support and my partners in this journey. Most importantly, I am indebted to my students, who have been my greatest source of inspiration. Each one of you has left a lasting imprint on my life. This school has been more than just a workplace—it has been my sanctuary, my family, and my foundation.
