In our Preschool programme, we nurture children’s curiosity and cultivate essential skills for inquiry and exploration. Our innovative, play-based curriculum focuses on developing strong reading, listening, and speaking skills that foster a love of learning and a sense of wonder that lasts a lifetime.

NES World School’s CBSE programme provides a learning environment to develop confident, responsible, and enterprising citizens. Our integrated curriculum is built on The Whole-Child concept and rigorous CBSE educational practices, making us one of the best CBSE Schools.

The students go through three phases –

  • Pre Primary Stage Program (PPSP)
  • Primary Stage Program (PSP)
  • Middle Stage Program (MSP)

Our philosophy of joyous learning is deep-rooted in our 7 pillars of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. that is aligned to our belief in experiential and experimental learning approach which helps a child transfer his/her understanding and skills to real-life situations and take meaningful actions as a result of it. Learning and Teaching approaches at NES World School focuses on concepts, context, content, and skills through inquiry-based constructivist approach, as well as a problem-based and project-based approach which inculcates in-depth conceptual understanding.

The students of our School will be well prepared for the 21st Century education by accomplishing the well-defined individual goals, set on their strengths, passion, and purpose of life.

Pre Primary Stage Program (PPSP)

NES WORLD SCHOOL’s Pre-school program helps children to develop the social and emotional competencies to settle well into the first stages of their long voyage to discovery, from Nursery to University. Our skilled and experienced teachers nurture our little new learners’ curiosity and cultivate essential skills for inquiry and exploration that are foundational to learning to read, write, compute mathematically and think logically. Our goal is to give them a love of learning and a sense of wonder that will last a lifetime, and motivate them to study even during the most tested times of their long school careers.

Playing for Learning

At NES World School, we believe in the natural learning abilities of children. Our preschool offers a stimulating environment with activities such as Show & Tell, Table-Top Cooking, Free Play, Screen-Free Robotics, Puppet Shows, Field Trips. These experiences build creativity, imagination, and essential physical, social, and emotional skills.

A Safe & Caring Environment for Your Child

At NES World School, we are a family. Our campus is a welcoming and safe space for children to begin discovering the world around them. Each classroom of 26 to 30 students is supported by 1 Home Room teacher and 1 Support Staff. A home away from home, our child-friendly campus is well-equipped with age-appropriate classrooms, play areas, library corners, gardens and puppet theatres to stimulate their young minds.

Building Strong Literacy & Numeracy Skills

Our preschool students take part in a custom-designed Literacy Programme that creatively introduces them to phonics followed by alphabets, allowing them to read and foster with confidence. Our child-friendly characters take our students on a voyage of discovery through stories, helping them develop social and emotional skills and a love of reading from a young age. These healthy habits support the formation of strong reading, listening, and speaking skills. Our numeracy programme incorporates sensory play, Montessori activities, and practical scenarios to help students count, measure, sort, identify patterns, solve number problems, and develop their logical thinking.

Achieving Early Developmental Milestones

We identify each child’s individual needs in partnership with parents, gently guiding them towards achieving their developmental milestones across the following key areas:
● Language & Social Skills
● Physical Dexterity
● Inquiry–Based Learning
● Creative Thinking

Cultivating Independence

Through the creative use of props and role plays, we guide children to discover the world around them. By participating in real-time scenarios such as gardening, visiting a fruit market, or boarding a plane, we inculcate a strong sense of student agency and independence that carry them through later years of life.

Celebrating Your Child’s Learning

As your child grows into a confident, curious and expressive individual, we celebrate them and their milestones. This goes a long way in developing their self-esteem and inspiring a love for lifelong learning. We keep students engaged and motivated by celebrating Colour Days, Teachers’ Day, Children’s Day and more.

Active Engagement with Parents

Our parent community holds a significant place in our school. Parents are welcomed into our school and become involved in classroom activities through our Reading Programme, Know My Parent sessions, Coffee with Class Teachers, and attending various school events such as Curriculum Day, Children’s Day, and our Annual Concerts. We also believe in seamless, timely and continual communication with parents through the Student Diary, Today@NES WORLD updates, Weekly Transaction Reports, Monthly Newsletters, and informal and formal Parent-Teacher Meets throughout the year. To continuously improve our services, we also invite parents to audit the school’s safety, transport and lunch systems and share their feedback.

Learning Through Play

The youngest members of our community embrace the fun and nurturing programmes in our Toddler, Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten classes. We understand that young children learn best through play, which is why we adopt a play-based, development-centered approach during these formative years. Our specially-designed classrooms will allow your child to experience safe and exciting learning, both indoors and outdoors. As your child discovers the world around them, our teachers are there to nurture, encourage and guide them through every step. We value your role as parents, and your child’s primary teacher will work in partnership with you to strive for the best learning experience possible. Together, we begin to lay the foundation for your child’s personal, academic and global future. Understanding that each youngster has a unique set of needs and abilities, we help your child develop critical thinking, creativity and interpersonal skills.

Our Personalised Approach to Learning

We focus on learning, not just on teaching. We believe your child deserves a different type of education: one that will better prepare them for the future, whatever it may bring. By focusing on individual child’s learning style and setting individualised goals, our teachers bring out the very best in each student. What is the secret to our students’ success? A high calibre of trained teachers and ongoing professional development opportunities, along with curriculum that allow each student to be part of their own learning process. Nearly all our teachers are certified academicians, where differentiated learning is an important part of their training. Setting individualised expectations for students based on each child’s specific needs is something that comes quite naturally. Our Early Years provision enables your child to develop their personality, talents and abilities, enabling them to develop a strong sense of self, feel positive about their abilities as a learner, form constructive relationships and become confident communicators.

The Importance Of Technology in Learning

At NES World School, children are supported and encouraged to find out and explore, play with what they know, be willing to ‘have a go’, be involved, to concentrate, keep trying, collaborate, enjoy achieving what they set out to do, have their own ideas, make links and choose different ways to do things. The use of technology is embedded in all areas of learning and used to enhance and reinforce the various learning opportunities.

Key Goals For Primary Years Learner

Our Primary Stage Programme prepares students to become active, caring, lifelong learners, who demonstrate respect for themselves and others and have the capacity to participate in the world around them. Your child will take part in learning and development as the cornerstone of the entire Primary Stage Program:

Middle Stage Program (MSP)

During your child’s crucial transition stage, we ensure their knowledge enhances across a wide range of subjects.
As your child’s education at NES World School continues, they will broaden their study whilst broadening their minds. We use the CBSE curriculum as the basis for our Middle Years Program.

The aim of these curriculum is to expand the student’s knowledge on a wide range of subjects, while encouraging them to analyse and make connections between them. Our curriculum at middle years builds on your child’s knowledge and gives them the tools and confidence to critique what they hear and see, and to embark on their own learning outside the classroom. In Middle School, your child will focus upon honing the skills that will be required for future success. The main tools for this curriculum are accessed through the CBSE curriculum.

At NES World School, Rajarhat, we ensure we offer the greatest opportunities to your child with a variety of routes to explore a wide range of ability.
